HUDSON, OHIO (Dec. 7, 2011) – Kids love it. Working parents dread it. School has been cancelled due to weather or other unexpected situation, so the kids are home, but usually the parents still have to go to work. This can create a very stressful situation.
Now working parents in the Stow or Hudson School Districts have a fun, easy and affordable solution to those unexpected cancellations. LifeCenter Plus offers child care for children ages 5-12.
“The children that come to LifeCenter Plus for snow days have a ball here,” explained Laura Coon, Kids Fitness Director. “They should wear comfortable clothes, bring their bathing suits and we’ll keep them busy all day long.”
Besides having great activities planned for the children under the supervision of qualified camp counselors, LifeCenter Plus has a rock climbing wall, a large all purpose room with basketball hoops, a tumbling area, crafts room and a variety of fitness programs all developed for age appropriate levels.
“Children will not be glued to a video game or the TV all day, but instead will be getting exercise, interacting with other kids and having fun,” said Coon.
This solution is open to both members and nonmembers of the LifeCenter Plus Health and Fitness Club. Three options are available for snow day child care: half day, full day or after care. LifeCenter Plus also offers school aged child care for Winter Break, planned teacher conference days and Spring Break. Interested parents should call LifeCenter Plus 5133 Darrow Road, Hudson for details, 330-655-2377, extension 145.
